Happy Saturday and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I am so glad for a long weekend! I actually did my shopping trips on Friday so this edition of Savvy Saturday is coming to you early so that I can relax and spend some time with my family (among other things). I shopped three stores (my usual): Publix, Bilo and Harris Teeter. Here is what I got:
Publix: Once again I got paid to shop at Publix (I even bought some ribs and produce)!!! They paid me 70 cents to take these items home! I saved $108.61!!! I used (1) $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon, (1)$3/$15 Food Lion coupon (they are giving these at Speed Street in uptown Charlotte, NC this weekend), (1) $2/$5 Food Lion Meat Purchase coupon and (1) $2/$5 Food Lion Produce Purchase coupon.
FREE PLUS OVERAGE: (10) Gas X (I placed an order for 10) and (4) French’s Mustard (you can also get these for free at Bilo)
$1.00 Or Less: (2) Dole Fruit Shakers for 37 cents each (used $1.25/2 Publix Digital coupon – remember Publix does not allow stacking of these coupons with a manufacturer paper coupon), (4) Totinos Pizzeria Rolls for 50 cents each, (4) Pepperidge Farm Frozen Garlic Bread for 65 cents each (used (1) $1/1 manufacturer coupons and (1) $2/3 Catalina), (5) Chung’s Spring/Egg Rolls for 80 cents each, (1) Luigi’s Italian Ice for 80 cents each, (2) Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal for 89 cents each (my kids’ favorite), (1) Ben & Jerry’s Pint Ice Cream for $1 (used $1/1 Publix Digital coupon – remember Publix does not allow stacking of these coupons with a manufacturer paper coupon)
Over $1.00: (1) Minute Maid Orange Juice for $2 (used a $.50/1 Catalina)
Bi-Lo: I had a great trip to Bilo (or should I say my hubby )!!!!. He spent 75 cents for $154 .38 worth of items, saving 100% (and he got meat and produce on this trip too)!!!! He used (1) $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon on this trip. He also earned 55 cents in Fuelperks on this trip!
FREE: (1) Fiber One Chewy Bars (check your Bilo E Coupons for this coupon as well as for the Pillsbury Toaster Strudel. My hubby forgot to grab the Toaster Strudel so I will get that on my next trip), (1) Gatorade (single) (used $1 Bilo E Coupon)
$1.00 Or Less: (10) Helluva Good Dip for 16 cents each, (5) Fresh Express Salad Kits for 50 cents each (used (5) $2/1 manufacturer coupons), (10) Snuggle Fabric Softener (small bottle) for 50 cents each (used B1G1 rain check and (10) $.50/1 manufacturer coupons and earned 50 cents in Fuelperks), (5) Buitoni Filled Pasta for 99 cents each (used (5) $1/1 manufacturer coupons and (5) $2 off Butoni Pasta wyb Fresh Express Publix coupon)
Harris Teeter: This was a small and quick trip to Harris Teeter. I spent $5.00 for $27.40 worth of groceries, saving 82%! I used my 10% Harris Teeter Discount Card on this trip.
