Savvy Saturday Shopping Results!!!!

I pray that everyone is having a fantastic weekend!  I got a late start to my shopping today, but I managed to make it to the stores.  My focus today (like last week) was on meats and produce.  I really wasn’t overly excited about any particular deals, but of course I am thank God for saving money on the things my family need and eat anyway.  So here we go:

Harris Teeter (see picture):  I spent $59.87 for $120.43 worth of items, saving 50%.  This was actually a better than I thought it would be.  I stocked up on ground beef at $2.99/lb, 2 bottles of Crisco Oil for $1.27 each, 3 containers of Best Life Butter for 29 cents each, 2 packs of Kraft Shredded Cheese for $1.00 each.  I had to get rain checks for the Krunchers Kettle Chips, El Monterrey Chicken Taquitos, and for the 8 roll of Quilted Northern Bath Tissue.

Lowes Foods:  I spend $20.04 for $40.10 worth of items, saving 50%.  I picked up cabbage for $.47/lb, London Broil for $2.79/lb, 2 boxes of Cheez-Its for $2.29 each and got a box of Kellogg’s Crispix for free (coupon was on the cereal box).  Nothing overly exciting for this trip.

Bi-Lo:  I spent $29.26 for $44.82 worth of items, saving 35%.  I mostly bought produce, bread and meats.  I scored a great deal on Mountain Springs (Paula Deen) chicken.  I found (2) 4 pack of drumsticks for $3.69 that $1 off coupons.  Plus I used my $1.50 off manufacturer coupons to get two 4 packs of drumsticks for $1.19 each.  I also got 1 box of Hungry Jack Mashed Potatoes for 99 cents,

I also did shop at Target and Walmart today to buy milk and some produce.  I didn’t have coupons for them.

So how did you do this week for deals?  I am ready for something exciting like Super Doubles @Harris Teeter.  Are you getting ready for it too?  If not, check out my previous post about how to prepare.
