Happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying your weekend like I am! This weekend I focused on shopping for items for Thanksgiving dinner. I shopped at Harris Teeter, Bi-lo, and Publix. Here is what I got:
Harris Teeter: I spent $30.11 for $133.84 worth of groceries, saving 78%. I used my 5% discount card, $10/$40 Harris Teeter coupon, and $5/$25 Family Dollar coupon on this trip.
FREE PLUS OVERAGE: (4) dozen Land O Lakes Brown Eggs (used a B1G1 raincheck and (4) $.35/1 manufacturer coupons)
FREE: (1) Gallon Harris Teeter Milk (used a Publix coupon to get free milk when you buy 3 Rice Krispies cereals)
$1.00 or Less: (3) Clorox Bleach for 55 cents each (EVIC special on 2 for $1.57 each and got $2 off instantly when you buy 3 and used a $.25/1 and $.50/1 manufacturer coupon), (10) Green Giant Frozen Veggies for 61 cents each, (4) Rice Krispies Cereals for 63 cents each (EVIC special to get $1 off limit 4 and used (2) $1/2 manufacturer coupons), (3) Morton Sea Salt Grinders for 89 cents each, (2) Mazola Cooking Spray for 89 cents each, (4) Mrs. Shubert Dinner Rolls for $1 each, (2) Harris Teeter Shredded Cheese for 97 cents each
$1.00 or More: (4) Hefty Cups for $1.10 each, (1) 3 lb bag of onions for $1.97, (2) Smart Chicken Wings for $3.86 and various other meats on mark down
Publix: I got my free turkey from Publix on Friday for transferring a prescription to their pharmacy. I picked up a few other items and spent $14.22 for $33.37 worth of groceries, saving 57%.
The main thing I bought that I bought that I used coupons on was 10 cans of Carnation Evaporated milk for 16 cents each. The other items were items on sale B1G1 (collard greens not in picture).
Bi-Lo: This trip was mainly for meats and produce so my savings was under my goal of 50%. I spent $48.67 for $85.91 worth of groceries, saving 43%. I used a $10/$40 Harris Teeter coupon and a $3/$10 Bi-Lo produce coupon on this trip.
I bought 5 cans of Swanson Chicken Broth for 43 cents each. I also got (3) packs of chicken drumsticks for 99 cents/lb. and some meats on mark down as well.
