Happy Wednesday!  I heard from a very reliable source that today could be the last day for Super Doubles Wednesday at select Harris Teeter stores.  Rumor had it that it would continue through the end of the year.  I guess we will see.  With that being said, I decided to use some rain checks that I had been holding on to as well as shop for deals today.  In total for all trips, I spent$39.19 for $339.78 worth of items, saving 88%.  I used my 5% Harris Teeter discount card, (1) $10/$40 Harris Teeter coupon, (2) $5/$20 Walgreens coupon and $12 in Walgreen Register Rewards on these trips (two pictures):

Happy Saturday!!!  I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving holiday!  We should give thanks for our blessings everyday, not just on Thanksgiving day, right?  I have been in the house for the last two days and I used today to get out to grab a few deals.  I didn’t even do any Black Friday shopping (I just cannot quite get into it although I did grab some things last year online).  My shopping today took me to Harris Teeter and Publix.  Here is what I got:

Ground Chuck (price scan guarantee – these were on EVIC for $3.97 each limit two, but rung up incorrectly so I got one free per their scan guarantee policy)

Publix:  I went by Publix to grab some coupon and a few deals.  I spent $5.48 for $25.22 worth of groceries, saving 78%.

The Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (4 count) were $.08 cents each and I used (1) $.50/2 and (4) $.40/2 manufacturer and stacked with (5) $1/2 Pillsbury Bread Publix store coupons.  The Hunt’s Ketchup was $.72 cents each (we are almost out of ketchup) and I did not have any coupons.  The Nature’s Own Bread was $1.39 — no coupons and we needed it.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!!!  I was up early to hit Harris Teeter this AM for another Super Doubles Wednesday.  I had plenty of company today on my trips today.  I shopped with Flo Paschal, Veronica Alexander, LaVonde Whitten, Karla Johnson and Dee Davis.  We had so much shopping, talking and sharing coupons and tips with each other!  I also saw Tesha Creamer, Kim Ford and Brendetta Caldwell while shopping as well.  In total for all trips, I spent $26.84 for $254.51 worth of groceries, saving 90%!  I used my 5% discount card on these trips.  I also got an 18 lb. turkey (not in picture) for $1.90 to give to a family for Thanksgiving and I used my $2 Catalina I got last week from Harris Teeter for purchasing the Dove Men Body Wash to help pay for it (it doubled to $4).

Publix:  I got my free turkey from Publix on Friday for transferring a prescription to their pharmacy.  I picked up a few other items and spent $14.22 for $33.37 worth of groceries, saving 57%.

The main thing I bought that I bought that I used coupons on was 10 cans of Carnation Evaporated milk for 16 cents each.  The other items were items on sale B1G1 (collard greens not in picture).

Bi-Lo:   This trip was mainly for meats and produce so my savings was under my goal of 50%.  I spent $48.67 for $85.91 worth of groceries, saving 43%.  I used a $10/$40 Harris Teeter coupon and a $3/$10 Bi-Lo produce coupon on this trip.

I bought 5 cans of  Swanson Chicken Broth for 43 cents each.  I also got (3) packs of chicken drumsticks for 99 cents/lb. and some meats on mark down as well.
