Merry day after Christmas everyone!  I hope you all had a blessed Christmas day and enjoyed time with your family and friends.  I made a morning run today to Harris Teeter for super doubles (in the soaking rain).  Since we have not had any coupons for the last two Sundays, there did not seem to be as many deals so I used this trip as an opportunity to use a couple of rain checks.  I spent $1.73 for $119.05 worth of groceries, saving 99%!  I used my 10% Harris Teeter discount card, (1) $10/$40 Harris Teeter coupon and (1) $5/$5 Food Lion coupon (I got in my email):

FREE PLUS OVERAGE:  (1) Soft Scrub Cleansing Gel, (2) Cheez-It Crackers, (13) Oscar Mayer Deli Meats (small packs that were on sale for $.97 cents each and had $1 store coupons on them), (1) Centrum Specialist Vitamin

I actually had $18 in overage so I used it to purchase the Old Orchard Healthy Balance Juices.

I heard a rumor that all Harris Teeters will run Super Doubles starting 1/2 – 1/8.  Too bad we don’t have that many new coupons since we had a break for two Sundays.
