Savvy Saturday Shopping Results!!!!

Happy Saturday and Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  I am so glad for a long weekend!  I actually did my shopping trips on Friday so this edition of Savvy Saturday is coming to you early so that I can relax and spend some time with my family (among other things).  I shopped three stores (my usual):  Publix, Bilo and Harris Teeter.  Here is what I got:

PublixOnce again I got paid to shop at Publix (I even bought some ribs and produce)!!!  They paid me 70 cents to take these items home!  I saved $108.61!!!  I used (1) $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon, (1)$3/$15 Food Lion coupon (they are giving these at Speed Street in uptown Charlotte, NC this weekend), (1) $2/$5 Food Lion Meat Purchase coupon and (1) $2/$5 Food Lion Produce Purchase coupon.

Harris Teeter:  This was a small and quick trip to Harris Teeter.  I spent $5.00 for $27.40 worth of groceries, saving 82%!   I used my 10% Harris Teeter Discount Card on this trip.

Happy Super Doubles Wednesday!  Here is my weekly trip to Harris Teeter for Super Doubles.  I spent $44.75 for $210.44 worth of items, saving 79%!  While I spent more than I normally do on SD, I was glad to get some free meat on this trip.

Savvy Saturday Shopping Results!!!!

Happy Saturday!!!!!  I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!  My last few Savvy Saturday posts have been very light, but this weekend I made up for it by shopping three stores (my usual) Publix, Harris Teeter and Bilo.  Here is what I got:

Publix:  I spent   $2.51 for $119.01 worth of items, saving 98%!  I used (1) $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon, (1) $3/$25 Publix coupon, (1) $5 Publix Gift card that I received from the Running Out Run In Rebate back in March and the $10 Visa gift card that I won at the Strawberry Festival from Family Trust Federal Credit Union earlier this month.  I also qualified for the Running Out Run In rebate for buying $30 in participating products (I bought Bounty, Gogurt and Suddenly Salad)

$1.00 Or Less:  (2) Dole Fruit Shakers for 24 cents each (used (1) $.75/1 manufacturer coupons and (1) $.75/1 Publix Digital coupon, (3) Buitoni Filled Pasta for 50 cents each (used (3) $1/1 manufacturer coupons and (3) $2 off Buitoni Pasta wyb Fresh Express Salad Kits), (2) Juicy Juice Fruitfuls Juice Boxes for 62 cents each, (3) Fresh Express Caesar Salad Kits for 67 cents each, (16) Bounty Dura Towel Paper Towels (Single Rolls) for 69 cents each (this purchase help me qualify for the Running Out Run In Rebate.  These were $1.33 each and I used (4) $.25/1 manufacturer coupons, (1) $.25/1 Publix Digital coupon and (8) $1/2 Bounty Publix coupons.  I only used 4 P&G coupons per the wording on coupon to only use 4 per day), (2) Yoplait Gogurt for 82 cents each, (7) Suddenly Salad Pasta Mix for 90 cents each (there is also a Publix coupon for $1/2 that you can print if you get the Best Meals Happen At Home Email.  (I purchased 4 more boxes using those coupons in a different transaction and paid 40 cents a box), (1) Mott’s Apple Juice Boxes for $1 each, (2) Nature’s Own Sandwich Rounds for $1 each (I had to buy snacks for Devin’s baseball game and there was a Publix coupon to $2 off the sandwich rounds wyb the 20 count pack of Frito Lay Chips Variety Pack and I bought to packs.  I didn’t have any coupons for the chips).

Harris Teeter:  I was really glad to see some better EVIC specials from Harris Teeter this weekend.  I spent $20.70 for $76.36 worth of groceries, saving 73%!  I used (1) $3/$25 Publix coupon and my 10% Harris Teeter coupon on this trip.

BiloI spent $41.76 for $226.09 worth of items, saving 82%!!!!  I used (1) $10/$100 Bilo coupon, (1) $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon and my 10% Harris Teeter Discount card on this trip.  I also grabbed some meat deals on this trip as well.

Happy Winning Wednesday!  It’s another Wednesday for Super Doubles at Harris Teeter and the deals this week at Harris Teeter looked a lot better than previous weeks.  I spent $32.12 for $262.18 worth of items, saving 88%.   My total is higher than normal because I bought some items that were over $1 after coupons.
