More Harris Teeter Super Doubles: Spent $3.45 For $203.80, Saving 98%!!

Happy Sunday!  I made another run to Harris Teeter today!  Thanks to my coupon buddy @Leona Bost who found some coupon booklets at Bi-Lo and bought me some at church today.  Here is what the booklet looks like this:

bilo_bookletThere are some great manufacturer coupons in this book for $2, $1 and $1.50 off various Unilever products.  So you know I headed to Harris Teeter with them.  If you find this booklet and use them at Harris Teeter, please be mindful that when the cashier scans them they DO NOT DOUBLE.  However, the coupons do not say do not double, but the stores I went to double them all manually.

I spent $3.45 for $203.80 worth of groceries, saving 98%!!!!  I used my 10% Harris Teeter on this trip. I had overage and used it to purchase some produce.  The coupons in the booklet for the Wishbone Salad Dressing and Lipton Onion Soup Mix also required me to purchase ground beef and chicken so I bought the cheapest packages I could find to get the meat as well.  I also got a free Minute Maid Lemonade 2 Liter because the cashier forgot to ask me (again LOL) to buy the pies.

HT_06302013FREE PLUS OVERAGE:  (6) Hellman’s Mayo, (6) Bertolli Pasta Sauce, (1) Harris Teeter (Your Home) Aluminum Foil (had an EVIC coupon for $2 off)

FREE:  (2) Twix Ice Cream Bars (6 Pack) (these coupons were printable coupons and not in the booklet), (5) Lipton Tea Bags (Family Size), (6) Wishbone Salad Dressing, (6) Lipton Onion Soup Mix

Savvy Saturday Shopping Results!!!!

Happy Saturday!  It is Father’s Day weekend so this post is coming to you early because I actually did my shopping Friday night so I could have my Saturday free for some family time.  I went to two stores:  Publix and Bilo.  I was also challenged with only $25 in my grocery cash envelope so I need to save as much as I could on both of these trips.  Did I pass the test and stay on budget?  You bet I did!  Here is how I did:

Publix:  Once again, I got paid to shop at Publix!  Publix paid me $8.20 (and I saved $185.00) to take home $193.20 in groceries!!!!  I used (1) $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon (I got another set in the mail yesterday too!), (1) $5/$30 Publix coupon (it was in the Wed. FREE PLUS OVERAGE:  (2) Sundown Vitamins (used the same coupons that I did at Publix.  I walked by them and saw they were B1G1 so I grabbed 2 more bottles)

I will probably not do a trip to Harris Teeter this weekend because they did not have any deals I wanted to get, but there are RUMORS that they might be doing Super Doubles for the whole week again starting Wed. 6/19th.  I have not confirmed this, but if I do hear or see an ad I will let you know.

Enjoy your Father’s Day weekend!!!!!
