Savvy Saturday Shopping Results!!!!

Happy Saturday!  This edition of Savvy Saturday is coming to you early because I am headed out of town for the day for my son’s band state competition.  I made a trip to Publix last night. I spent $23.30 for $109.74, saving 79%!  I am using this receipt to submit for the Proctor & Gamble Bakeware Set offer.  Here is what I got:

$1.00 Or Less:  (5) Motts For Tots Juice for 50 cents each, (6) Marie Callender’s Small Desserts for 50 cents each, (1) Stayfree Pads for 75 cents, (2) Apple & Eve Water Fruits Juice 8 pack for $1.00 each

Over $1.00:  (4) Tyson Chicken Sandwiches/Breakfast Bowls for $1.25 each, (3) Oral Replacement Brush Heads for $1.65 each and (1) Crest Toothpaste for $2.00(these items qualify me for the bakeware set)

This weekend I made it to three stores:  Publix, Bilo and Harris Teeter.

Publix:  I did the Running Out Run IN Rebate at Publix (spend $30 before coupons on participating products and get a $10 Publix gift card in the mail).  I spent $22.77 for $91.55 worth of items, saving 75%!  I used my $5/$30 Publix coupon on this trip and a $2 Bilo coupon on this trip.

Publix 10122013$1.00 or Less:  (4) Crest Toothpaste for 45 cents each, (8) V8 Splash Juice for 84 cents each, (1) Jose Ole Taco Minis for 9 cents,  (8) Yoplait Gogurt for 82 cents each, (8) Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad for 99 cents each, (3) Dole Fruit Squeezers for $1 each

Over $1.00:  (1) Charmin Toilet Tissue 12 pack for $1.99 (used a $2/1 Charmin manufacturer coupon I got in the mail and $1 off toilet tissue coupon from Bilo)

Bilo: I had a great trip to Bilo!  I did two transactions!  The first transaction was for the P&G Spread Awareness Rebate.  You can get a $10 Bilo Gift card when you buy $30 in P&G products before coupons.  I spent $3.06 for $72.45 worth of items, saving 96%!  I used a $5/$30 Publix coupon and my 5% Harris Teeter Discount card.  Here is what I got:

(For the Downy Ball, Downy Unstoppables and Downy Liquid Fabric Softener I used he $5/3 manufacturer coupon)

(4) Crest Toothpaste (used rain check for 99 cents and use (4) $.50/1 manufacturer coupons and (4) $.55/1 Publix coupons

For my second transaction I paid $19.70 for $111.94 worth of items, saving 82%!  I used $10/$50 Harris Teeter coupon and $5/$35 Bilo coupon on this transaction.  This is good since I also bought meat and produce on this trip.

FREE PLUS OVERAGE:  (2) Dove Men Bodywash (used (2) $2/1 manufacturer coupon and $3 in ecoupons and (2) $1 Publix coupons), (2) Axe Body Spray (used (2) $2 manufacturer coupons, $2 ecoupon and (2) $1 Publix coupon)  ( I earned 10 cents in Fuelperks for buying the Dove Bodywash)

FREE:  (2) Marcal Napkins (used BOGO rain check and (2) $1/1 manufacturer coupons)

$1.00 Or Less:  (8) Brawny Single Roll Paper Towels for 5 cents each (used BOGO rain check)

Harris Teeter I spent $8.35 for $20.31 worth of groceries, saving 59%!  I used my Harris Teeter 5% Discount Card on this trip.  I got (3) 12 pack of Minute Maid Lemonades for 97 cents each (used a B1G1 rain check) and (2) Marie Callender’s Easy Sides for free plus overage and (1) Bailey’s Coffee Creamer for free plus overage

Happy Saturday!  I’m back this weekend with my blogging!  Yeah!  Last weekend I did not shop much so it was nothing really exciting to share with you.

I am sure you all know by now that Publix is buying several Bilo locations in our area.  Today they had everything 75% off so I made an early morning run to the two stores closing in Rock Hill.  I spent $47.31 and saved $286.58!I love the Swiffer Starter Kits I got.

BLAlso, if you have not heard Harris Teeter will no longer do super doubles on Wednesday at the stores near Publix.  I am so sad to see that promotion go.  :(
