About Me:

My name is Malinda and I am a Christian wife to an awesome husband, Dwayne and working mother of three beautiful children — Jalen, Devin, and Kayla.  My family and I are active members of World Worship Church in Charlotte, NC.  My journey with coupons began in 2008 after the birth of my third child and a pink slip my husband received from the mortgage company he worked for.  I was looking for ways to save money and be wiser with how I spent my money on groceries, household and toiletries, clothes, diapers, literally everything — I started using coupons and I have never looked back.  I save money on purpose because I want to be a good manager of the blessings and financial resources that God has given me.  At the same time, I want to help others to step out and do the same (no shame or fear). You will not find me clearing shelves or hoarding because that is not my purpose.  I am all about using coupons in moderation.  The following scripture is my motivation for this blog:

PROVERBS 24:3-4:  A  house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense. Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables.
